AMYMI

AMYMI (A-meem-i) is a Beirut-born, Dubai-raised multi-genre DJ, producer, and storyteller whose sound exists beyond conventional boundaries. As the founder of UnGenre Records, she has created a platform that reflects her artistic philosophy: freedom from genre limitations and a commitment to authentic creative expression.

Blending driving techno with alternative electronic influences, AMYMI crafts immersive sonic journeys that fuse analog warmth with futuristic textures. Her music is both powerful and emotive, balancing underground energy with cinematic storytelling to create a distinctive signature sound.

Music has been at the center of her life from an early age. Before stepping behind the decks, she explored performance through singing, hosted her own childhood radio show, and developed a strong musical foundation through piano and drums. These experiences continue to shape her multidimensional approach to electronic music today.

In 2018, AMYMI began pursuing music professionally, expanding her expertise through masterclasses with industry leaders at the Amsterdam Dance Event. She later dedicated herself fully to her craft, building her own production studio and developing a unique artistic identity through experimentation with electronic sound design and immersive soundscapes.

Her productions have earned consistent recognition on Beatport, with multiple releases reaching the Top 10 Hype Chart and Top100 Global Chart  (All Genres) on Beatport in addition to being selected many times on the editorial playlist of Beatport and Spotify, helped her showcasing the evolution of her sound.
